We had a fabulous time on Saturday celebrating Jason's birthday. We were lucky enough to have lots of family join us. We dinned on monster mouths, soup, witch hats and broom sticks, dirt cupcakes with worms, and punch with gummy worms in the ice cubes. My dear friend Catherine was kind enough to make the cute cookies. Benj brought home a pinata that one of his students made at school. All of the kids took turns hitting it and made sure to scoop up all of the candy. We even enjoyed watching a movie on the wall using our projector. Jason loved all of his toys, but has especially loved the binoculars we gave him. He discovered if you look into them backwards everything is really small and clear. As soon as be opened them he ran to the window and said he was looking for owls.... it was great! He loves it. As you can see he even watched most of the movie that way.
